Job Summary
Within this role, you will lead a wide variety of mechanical, as well as pneumatic maintenance activities and some basic electrical activities on various pieces of equipment to maintain safe operations of equipment while maintaining production goals and quality standards. You will support and help other groups like Engineering, QA, and Facilities in resolving problems, making improvements, investigations, etc. The manager will act as the "go-to" person for the department, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed and passed on to the incoming shift, if needed. The manager will also communicate with managers, area managers/supervisors, and follow up with emails to ensure a smooth operation during shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, work crew, or production
- Maintain time and production records
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
- Observe work being performed by maintenance, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality, timeliness, and maintenance goals are met
- Manage and provide technical support to all shifts of equipment and building maintenance personnel
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation background. Related experience in diagnosing and maintaining machinery for rubber sheet production, stamping of aluminum, lining, and washing seals is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- Experience with GMP, LEAN, and Six Sigma in a production environment
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Danish
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus

- Strong technical understanding and ability to challenge your employees on technical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Transparency:
The annual base salary range for this position is kr 596,992.00 - kr 759,808.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
In addition, team members are eligible to participate in West Pharmaceutical Services Danmark ApS's benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
